Parallèlement, elle a régulièrement collaboré avec le metteur en scène berlinois Ersan Mondtag. En 2021, elle a fondé le GROUP50:50 avec le musicien suisse Elia Rediger, la chorégraphe congolaise Dorine Mokha et le conservateur Patrick Mudekereza. Avec ce collectif congolais-suisse, elle a développé un projet politique en plusieurs parties comprenant les deux pièces de théâtre musical The Ghosts Are Returning et Ecosystem ainsi que la série de débats The Time For Denial Is Over. Il y a cinq ans, elle s'est installée à Palerme, où elle a cofondé la Fondazione Studio Rizoma, une structure de production pour des projets politiques et artistiques transnationaux basée à Palerme. Il est le fondateur et le directeur artistique du Centre d'art Waza, un centre d'art indépendant unique en son genre situé à Lubumbashi. Il a cofondé et dirigé les trois premières éditions des Rencontres Picha, Biennale de Lubumbashi (2008-2015). Il a participé à la création et a siégé au conseil d'administration de l'International Biennial Association. Il a été commissaire d'expositions telles que "Prise de Terre" (partie de GEOgraphics, Bozar, 2010), "Close Openings/Vernissage Fugaces" (Différents lieux à Lubumbashi, 2011), "Mining Lubum" (VANSA, Johannesburg, 2015), "Silimuka" (partie du projet ChinAfrika under construction, Museum für Gegenwartskunst GfZK Leipzig, 2017), "Aire d'oiseaux imaginaires" (Biennale du Congo à Kinshasa, 2019, et Bogardenkapel Brugge, 2019). Kasau Wa Mambwe est un artiste visuel, cinéaste et auteur basé à Lubumbashi. Licencié en Sciences de l’information et de la Communication de l’Université de Lubumbashi, il a une spécialisation en Arts du Spectacle (Audiovisuel, cinéma et théâtre). Sa passion pour l’art commence très tôt dans des cinés de fortune de Lubumbashi, et se nourrit d’influences visuelles multiples qui vont se formaliser plus tard dans sa pratique artistique. Du théâtre, au cinéma en passant par la photographie et l’écriture, le parcours de Joseph Kasau se construit autour de l’envie de raconter des histoires: qu’il s’agisse d’un bout de lui ou des communautés dans lesquelles il a grandi et qu’il côtoie encore au quotidien. Sa pratique artistique se situe à l’intersection du cinéma, de l'art vidéo, de la photographie, de l'écriture créative et aborde dans son travail la complexité de la mémoire et de l'identité dans un contexte urbain postcolonial. Sa pratique est profondément ancrée dans la durabilité, s’inspirant de textiles de seconde main et traditionnels pour explorer les histoires que les matériaux peuvent raconter. À travers son travail, Nortey réfléchit aux thèmes de l’identité, du travail, de la mémoire et de la relation changeante entre les personnes et les objets qui façonnent leur vie. Travaillant dans la peinture, la sculpture, l’art textile et la teinture, Nortey transforme des matériaux rejetés et négligés en nouveaux langages visuels. Il combine un savoir-faire minutieux avec des processus expérimentaux et guidés par le hasard, permettant à chaque pièce d’évoluer de manière organique tout en remettant en question les notions de forme et de texture. She was born in Boende and started her career as a drummer in Kinshasa in a contemporary dance group, Compagnie Jacques Banayanga, before doing a stint with the Quartier Latin group. In 2009, she formed her own group, Huguembo, with whom she has performed regularly in Congo. Huguette regularly collaborates with theatre and dance. In 2018, she joined the team of Not Another Diva.... a musical creation of South African Hlengiwe Lushaba and Faustin Linyekula. She has performed at venues including Kaserne Basel in Switzerland, NTGent and Bozar Brussels in Belgium. In 2018-2019 she was part of the team of Un fleuve dans le ventre - a text by Fiston Mwanza Mujila directed by Carina Riedl - with whom she reunited in 2022 for the production of the text Anthropos Tyrann by Alexander Eisenach with Teatro di Bolzano in Italy. For several years he has been composing for the stage, for himself and collaborating with other artists such as Dorine Mokha, Elia Rediger, Faustin Linyekula or for the screen with Nelson Makengo. Franck is a writer and director of videos, films and sound pieces and also works as a sound designer and editor.
